The Wonju International Symposium of Hyperbaric Medicine (WISH) has began on 2018 and the third symposium will be held this year. Currently, HBOT in Korea has gradually expanded and is being applied to more diverse disease than before. However, we are still in the nascent stages compared to US, Europe, and Japan.

This year, we have hosted experts from Israel. Dr Shai Efrati and Dr. Keren Doenyas-Barak are from Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Research, Shamir Medical Center. From this symposium, we hope to share the knowledges and experiences.

Regular inspections of hypebaric oxygen chambers (monoplace and multiplace) will be conducted in the third quarter from October 5th to 15th, 2021.
The engineer in charge of IBEX will visit for on-site inspection. IBEX's professional engineers, who have expertise in hyperbaric oxygen chambers, conduct on-site inspections and guides to maintain facilities and equipment functions, and even provide training to ensure proper use of equipment.

Haedong Hospital opened the multiplace hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber (IBEX Omega, 12 persons) center (Donghyun Kim, surgical, Head of the center) in Busan.
